Sweet and Sour Chicken (Russian Chicken)
Sweet and Sour Chicken (Russian Chicken)
Ingredients
Sweet and Sour Chicken (Russian2 broilers, cut into pieces,washed and dried well
1 package dehydrated
    onion soup mix
1 bottle deep red Wish-
    bone Russian dressing (8 ounces)
1 jar apricot preserves  (10 ounces)
Chicken)
Directions

Preheat oven:  350?
Mix Russian dressing, onion soup mix and apricot
preserves.  Let stand.  Place chicken in a large
shallow baking dish.  Pour sauce over chicken.  Bake
for 1 ½ hours, basting occasionally.

NOTE:  This is a simple, delicious, inexpensive
company dinner.  The chicken boasts a rosy brown hue due to the basting sauce.  I serve
 it  with (peas and rice) and a lovely green salad orendive and pimientos.
